Horizon’s Nutrition and Food Services team has been working towards an upgraded and standardized system. Part of this upgrade involves using an iPad to select meals at the patient bedside. Staff visit patients daily to obtain personal menu selections, using an iPad, which allows for flexibility and choice to tailor menu selections to personal preference.

With this updated change in the ordering process, we want to understand the patient experience and level of satisfaction with menu choices and meals while admitted to a Horizon facility.

Patient feedback is vital for us to continue to improve our service.

  • Nutrition and Food Services Patient Experience Survey

    Food is an essential component to the patient care experience. Research tells us that bedside ordering for menu selection improves oral intake and the overall patient care experience. 

    We are asking all admitted patients, or patients who have recently been admitted to a Horizon facility and who ordered meals to respond to this survey. If you are currently admitted to a Horizon facility, please answer this survey with your feedback on the meals you’ve ordered to date.
