Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic - The Moncton Hospital
On 23 May 2019, I was told I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of an unknow origin but the Oncologists suspected it originated in my pancreas. It was the most devastating day of mine and my families lives as both my mom and dad and my spouses dad past away from this awful disease. On the day I was diagnosed, I ask my Oncologist how long I would I have to live and he told me I would likely only have one to two years. The good news is I past my two year mark last week and just received my 50th Chemo treatment yesterday.
In the two years I have been receiving cancer care at the Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at the Moncton Hospital, I am extremely happy with the care and treatment I have received. I am amazed by the friendliness, expertise and professionalism of all staff. From admin staff, assessment nurses, pharmacy staff, Chemo nurses and Oncology doctors, the clinic has assembled a amazing team of individuals to provide care to patients from across the Maritimes. Me and my family want to thank all staff for providing me with the outstanding care and treatment that I have received over the past two years. This care and treatment has and will continue to extend my life so I can spend as much time with my family and friends.
A huge "Thank You" goes out to all staff at the Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at the Moncton Hospital
